The artist we know as Spenzo is famous for his hit single “Wife Er.” Growing up out south in Chicago, he was surrounded by family, from music to church. Spenzo's uncle has a church on the street forty-seventh and Wabash called Mt Carmel Bible Church.
His Dad created a song that is a cultural staple for the city called “Let Me Bang.” Besides his community, some musical influences are Master P, Silkk the Shocka, 50 Cents, Jeezy, and Gucci. Spenzo’s zodiac sign is Gemini, attributed to the album name and the Gems brought out of Spenzo. From the Album “Gem In I” my favorites are “Twice,” “Goat FrFr,” “Accolades,” “Waiting on A Load,” and “Veronica”! I particularly enjoy the first two singles off the album, “Time Out” and “Reppin.” They introduce you to where Spenzo came from. What he has been through, how he made it this far in his career, and most importantly, where he is going! “When street and city business hit the internet, you must accept that there is nothing you can do about it. There is no point in trying to talk or post to clean things up”—with the new leaf turned over while “Gem In I” was composed. Spenzo has acquired a great team, versatile sound, and a new look! While creating this album, he learned a new side of his business partners and self. Spenzo has always been outside interacting with media and fans since entering the music industry. We cannot wait to see what’s next!
